How will my membership fee be used?
Your membership fee will go towards the cost of publishing the book of the year, and the operation of the Feminist History Society.
What benefits do I receive as a member?
You receive one copy of the book of the year, beautifully designed in hardcover.
Will I receive a charitable receipt for my membership?
You will receive a charitable receipt for the amount which does not go toward the benefit you receive – the book. This amount is currently $30 of each $100.
What is the membership year?
The membership year is the calendar year.
How will I know that the Feminist History Society has received my membership?
You will receive a thank you letter and charitable receipt within two weeks of receipt of your membership. You will automatically receive the annual book when it is published.
Are taxes payable on my membership?
No, the volume of transactions does not currently require the FHS to collect taxes.
What will the Feminist History Society do with my personal information?
The FHS will not share your personal information with anyone, or sell our membership lists to other organizations.
Why is the Feminist History Society using PayPal?
PayPal is secure and simple, and keeps our transaction fees to a minimum.
